Standard Licence

When you buy a G-Type font you are buying a licence to use it on a designated number of devices such as a desktop computer, server, laptop or tablet.

The Standard Licence is the most basic one we provide and permits use on up to 5 devices or workstations by default. You can easily increase the total number of licensed users/devices by selecting the appropriate number (up to 1,000) in your shopping basket before purchase. Or you can purchase a Standard Licence first and upgrade or extend it at a later date.

The full terms and conditions of usage are contained in our End User Licence Agreement (EULA); we know that reading a EULA is comparable with watching paint dry but we recommend that you at least scan the quick overview section at the start to familiarise yourself with the main points.

If you're looking to embed a G-Type font into web pages you'll need a separate Webfont Licence.

Similarly, if you're a larger organisation with more complex requirements such as document embedding, 3rd party use or digital publishing in apps & eBooks you'll need to contact us and arrange the appropriate licence.

Additional licences are also available for developers or companies wishing to embed G-Type fonts into software or hardware products like games and smart phones, or include our font software in server based applications.
